Cunningham’s Career Statistics

Posted: August 27, 2011 by hofworthy in NFL, Randall Cunningham

For those fortunate enough to see the Philadelphia Eagles play in mid-1980’s and early-1990’s, you saw Randall Cunningham on the field.  You saw a double-threat to score every time the ball was in his hands, a field general who raised the play of his teammates, and a passionate leader who sacrificed his body for the sake of the team.  But as in all HOF debates: What are his credentials? What do the statistics say?

CAREER STATISTICS:

  1. 29,979 YDs (34th All-Time)
  2. 207 TDs (28th)
  3. 81.5 Passer Rating (45th)
  4. 134 INTs (66th)
  5. 4,928 Rushing YDs (1st)
  6. 35 Rushing TDs (2nd)

Impressive, but how do these statistics rank against those QBs already inducted into the Hall of Fame?  Let’s break it down.
